Ephram Nelson Jones, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on November 2, 2014, in Ford Heights, Illinois. Jones, along with 19-year-old Cyrus Johnson, was found shot to death inside a 2001 white Ford van at approximately 1:25 a.m. in the 1500 block of Park Lane. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, with autopsies revealing that they died from multiple gunshot wounds. The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled their deaths as homicides.
