Chris Hollis-Walker, a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on February 5, 2014, in Ford Heights, Illinois. The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. in the 1500 block of Embassy Lane. According to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office and the Cook County Sheriff's office, Chris was pronounced dead at Franciscan St. James Health hospital in Chicago Heights at 3:13 a.m. The Cook County Sheriff's department launched an investigation into the fatal shooting.
