Remone Butler Jr., a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on June 6, 2020, in Ford Heights, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on Diplomat Lane, a location known for its high crime rate. According to reports, police officers on patrol heard gunshots around 12:50 a.m. and arrived at the scene to find Butler lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
