Oscar Garcia, an 18-year-old male from Chicago, IL, tragically lost his life on November 21, 2014. The circumstances surrounding his death were deeply rooted in gang violence, a pervasive issue in certain neighborhoods of Chicago. On the night of his death, Garcia was approached by two individuals, Jacob Morales, 18, and a 17-year-old boy, in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
