Levon Averhart, a 42-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on September 17, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred late at night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. According to reports, Averhart was standing outside in the 5700 block of South Winchester Avenue when two males approached him.
