Jalen Parker, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on May 26, 2021, in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 2:20 p.m. while Jalen was seated in a vehicle in the 7500 block of South Chappel Avenue.
