Patrick Lynn Holmes Jr., a 33-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 26, 2022, in Chicago, IL. Holmes was fatally shot while leaving his car in the Little Italy neighborhood on the Near West Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of West Roosevelt Road. Holmes was shot twice in the chest and was subsequently transported to Stroger Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
