Cherrese Richardson, an 18-year-old senior at Charles H. Flowers High School in Springdale, Maryland, tragically lost her life on January 8, 2008, due to a fatal drive-by shooting. On that fateful day, Cherrese and her friend Sonja Bangura were walking near the high school on Ardwick-Ardmore Road when they were caught in the crossfire of a dispute between two groups of youths.
