In the quiet community of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, the life of 43-year-old Courtney Blacksher, a dedicated mother of two and a metro bus driver, was tragically cut short. On the afternoon of September 28, 2023, police responded to a call at an apartment on Harry S. Truman Drive. Inside, they discovered Ms. Blacksher in her fourth-floor apartment, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
