On September 28, 2023, 43-year-old Courtney Blacksher was found deceased in her apartment on Harry S. Truman Drive in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Responding to a call around 4:05 p.m., Prince George's County police officers discovered Blacksher suffering from gunshot wounds; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
