On December 14, 2014, 21-year-old African American male Terion D. "Tee Dee" Steward was fatally shot in Joliet, Illinois. The incident occurred near the intersection of Joliet Street and McDonough Street, where Terion sustained gunshot wounds to the head and thigh. A 14-year-old boy also suffered a gunshot wound to the foot during the same event.
