In the early evening of Friday, January 24, 2014, Trevain Keene, a 22-year-old African-American man, was found shot on Callender Street in Boston. Police responded to the scene at approximately 6:25 p.m. and discovered Keene, who was pronounced dead where he was found. His death was part of a violent weekend in the city that saw a total of four homicides.
