Jeevit Rai, a 20-year-old man from Aurora, Illinois, tragically lost his life on December 16, 2015, in Joliet, Illinois. On that fateful evening, Jeevit Rai was fatally shot outside a convenience store located in the 100 block of South Briggs Street. After being shot, Rai managed to run into the store and asked the clerk for help. Despite his efforts to seek assistance, he collapsed inside the store.
