Alexander Perez, a 23-year-old male from Lockport, Illinois, tragically lost his life on August 29, 2018, due to a gunshot wound to his chest. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the 6800 block of Hadrian Drive, Joliet, on the city's far west side. Perez was visiting the home of 19-year-old Jacob Megrant in the Cumberland South subdivision to purchase drugs.
