On December 25, 2015, 22-year-old Kylan D. Collier was found shot to death on the porch of his home in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident was part of a particularly violent Christmas week in Chicago, during which 12 individuals lost their lives to gun violence.
