Ronald Jerome Clarke, a 23-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on January 5, 2016, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, specifically in an apartment located in the 2000 block of West 52nd Place. According to police reports, Clarke was involved in a physical altercation with an unknown assailant who subsequently pulled out a gun and shot him in the face. Clarke was immediately transported to Stroger Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
