Salvador Corral, a 35-year-old Hispanic male from Hammond, Indiana, tragically lost his life on April 16, 2016, in Bloomington, Illinois. The incident that led to his death was a result of a family argument that escalated into violence. On the day of the incident, Corral was involved in a confrontation with Jaime Rodriguez, another family member, near the South Shore station in Hammond. The altercation turned deadly when Corral shot Rodriguez, who was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
