Van Wilson, 57, a male from Bloomington, Illinois, was shot on the afternoon of October 21, 2025, in the parking lot of the Casey’s along Fox Creek Road on the city’s south side. Officers were called around 4:20 p.m., where bystanders were already trying to help as first responders arrived.
