In the late hours of November 8, 2016, the life of Anthony Young, a 33-year-old African-American man, was tragically cut short on Savannah Avenue in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston. At approximately 10:50 p.m., Boston Police responded to reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered Young suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
