Antonian T. Mixon, a 47-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on December 14, 2016, in the West Chatham neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Mixon, who was visiting relatives in Chicago from his home in Lithonia, Georgia, was on the sidewalk at approximately 10:10 p.m. in the 8200 block of South Perry Avenue when a male suspect approached him, announced a robbery, and subsequently shot him in the head.
