Junius Thurston, a 33-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on May 7, 2020, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred at a BP gas station located in the 1000 block of South Desplaines Street in the South Loop neighborhood. According to police reports, Junius Thurston was standing in the gas station lot when a black Audi pulled up. A rear passenger exited the vehicle and opened fire on Thurston.
