Deonta Andre Rozier, a 21-year-old African American man, was found dead on January 3, 2017, in a cornfield north of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. His body was discovered by a local farmer around 10:45 AM. An autopsy revealed that Deonta Rozier died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
