Garcel Woods, a 30-year-old African American male from Westchester, Illinois, was found dead on January 26, 2017, in an alley in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. Officers responded to a report of a person down in the 6300 block of South Parnell Avenue around 12:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Woods' body, which had suffered puncture wounds to the chest and hand.
