Dywon Sheppard, a 37-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on December 9, 2021, in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 2400 block of West 63rd Street. According to reports, Sheppard was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene by the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Another man, aged 36, was also wounded in the shooting, sustaining injuries to his hip and foot. He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center ...
