Tommie L. Jones, a 28-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on October 1, 2017, in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. when a man approached Jones and a 26-year-old woman as they stood in the 2600 block of East 75th Street.
