On March 30, 2017, Edwin Davis, a 32-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood. The incident occurred at Nadia Fish and Chicken, located in the 7500 block of South Coles Avenue. Davis was among four victims in this tragic event. Emmanuel C. Stokes, 28, was also shot inside the restaurant. Brothers Dillon Jackson, 20, and Raheem Jackson, 19, attempted to flee but were found shot in nearby parking lots. All four men were pronounced dead at the scene.
