Abraham Burgo, a 35-year-old man from Bolingbrook, Illinois, was tragically shot in the neck on January 23, 2015, in Chicago's Lawndale neighborhood. He was found in a vehicle on the 1500 block of South Trumbull Avenue. Despite efforts to save him, Abraham succumbed to his injuries on February 1, 2015. The incident occurred in an area known for its high crime rates, particularly violent crimes, which have plagued the community for years.
