Brittany Bonnie Leflore, a 22-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on April 18, 2017, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the Roseland neighborhood on the city's Far South Side. Brittany was returning home from a friend's house when she was shot multiple times, including in the abdomen and ankle, while knocking on the door of a friend's home.
