Adam Tayeh, a 32-year-old male from Springfield, Illinois, tragically lost his life on April 25, 2017, as a result of a road rage incident. The altercation began near Dirksen Parkway and South Grand Avenue and escalated to Hill Street and Enos Avenue. During this confrontation, Robert A. Pope, who was driving a pickup truck, shot Adam Tayeh, who was on a motorcycle. Tayeh sustained multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries later that night at St. John's Hospital.
