Daniel Cardova, a 26-year-old male from Chicago, IL, was fatally shot on May 7, 2017, in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the city's Southwest Side. Early that morning, around 4:30 a.m., police responded to a call of shots fired in the 2500 block of West 46th Place.
