Donovan Walker Ruland, a 12-year-old boy from Rockford, Illinois, tragically lost his life on May 24, 2017. Donovan, who was born on December 10, 2004, was the son of Nicole Foster and Jason Ruland. On that fateful day, Donovan was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of 4th Street and 16th Avenue in Rockford.
