On November 20, 2008, Marcario Amaya, a 52-year-old resident of Rockford, Illinois, was found deceased under tragic circumstances. His body was discovered in a large plastic garbage bag, left in the parking lot of Mi Casa Bar on 1103 S. Pierpont Avenue. It was later determined that Mr. Amaya had been shot to death.
