Cedric Hurst, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 1, 2017, in Chicago Heights, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning near Andover and Revere streets. According to reports, officers responded to a call about two shooting victims at approximately 2:11 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Cedric Hurst and a 21-year-old man lying on the ground.
