Zacari Johnson, a 20-year-old African American male from Chicago Heights, IL, tragically lost his life on September 9, 2018. The incident occurred in the south suburban Sauk Village, where officers responded to a call of shots fired around 1:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Zacari Johnson suffering from a gunshot wound to his head inside a vehicle located in the 21000 block of Carol Avenue.
