Deron White, a 25-year-old African American male from Chicago Heights, IL, tragically lost his life on January 15, 2019. Deron was shot in University Park and succumbed to his injuries four days later, on January 19, 2019, at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. The circumstances surrounding his death were deeply distressing, as he was one of the victims in a violent incident that left the community in shock.
