Michael Overall, a 23-year-old African American male, was found shot in his car in Chicago Heights, IL, on November 11, 2017. At approximately 4:16 a.m., officers discovered Overall in the driver's seat of a blue Chevrolet Impala with a gunshot wound to the head. He was initially taken to St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights and later airlifted to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 5:26 p.m. that same day.
