Maleek Clark, an 18-year-old African American male from Matteson, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed on July 5, 2019, in Ford Heights, a suburb of Chicago. The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. during a large gathering near Diplomat and Woodlawn lanes. Cook County sheriff’s police, who were present at the scene, heard gunshots and discovered Maleek Clark in a vehicle near the intersection of 183rd Street and Highland Avenue in Homewood.
