Jose Antonio Munoz Chavez, a 32-year-old man, was fatally shot on September 3, 2023, in Chicago Heights, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early morning hours when Chicago Heights police responded to a report of a shooting in the 500-block of W. 14th Place. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals with gunshot wounds, who were subsequently transported to hospitals where they later died. The victims were identified as David Parra, 30, and Jose Antonio Munoz Chavez.
