Margaret Fetterolf, aged 16, was brutally murdered on September 12, 1976, in Woodlawn, Baltimore County, Maryland. Her body was found along Dogwood Road, near the Lorraine Park Cemetery. She had been strangled and sexually assaulted. Margaret remained unidentified for 45 years and was known as “Woodlawn Jane Doe” until advanced DNA testing in 2021 finally provided her identity. She was originally from Alexandria, Virginia, and had gone missing in 1975.
