Joaquin Clara, a 51-year-old Hispanic male, was found dead on August 23, 2017, in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Clara, who was homeless, was discovered around 9 p.m. in the 5900 block of West Fullerton Avenue. The Cook County medical examiner's office determined that Clara died from blunt-force injuries to his head, and his death was ruled a homicide. The autopsy revealed that the injuries were severe, indicating a violent attack.
