On the night of September 9, 2017, at approximately 11:40 p.m., a tragic shooting occurred in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood. A group was gathered behind a parked vehicle in the 11440-block of South Yale Avenue when two male suspects emerged from an alley and began firing. Among the victims was 26-year-old Jacquell Mosley, a Black female resident of the West Pullman neighborhood. She suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
