Dantrell Morgan, a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 14, 2017, in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Officers responded to a call of shots fired around 2 a.m. and found Morgan lying in a grassy area of a sidewalk on South Carpenter Street. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
