Jordon Cooper, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 16, 2019, in the Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. According to reports, Cooper was standing on the street in the 700 block of North St. Louis Avenue at approximately 1:03 a.m. when he was struck by multiple gunshots, including a fatal shot to the head.
