Mohamed Salhia, a 76-year-old male of Middle Eastern descent, tragically lost his life on September 19, 2017, in Alsip, Illinois. Salhia, the owner of Ray’s Towing and Recovery Service, was fatally shot during an attempted robbery at his business. The incident occurred around 12:45 p.m. when Brian Garcia, a 33-year-old man from Carpentersville, entered the shop armed and masked.
