Andrew L. Scott Jr., a 33-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on February 6, 2018, in Alsip, Illinois. According to the Cook County Medical Examiner, Scott died from multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide. The incident occurred in the vestibule of a condominium building located in the 4600 block of 131st Street. Police responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 6:22 p.m. and found Scott along with another individual suffering from gunshot wounds.
