Stevenson, a convicted felon, approached the mourners at Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen Park and fired a single shot into the grave, shouting derogatory remarks. He was arrested shortly after by the Evergreen Park police. Although Stevenson was not directly involved in Talib's murder, his actions at the burial site added another layer of complexity to the case.
