Sterling Raye-Washington, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 25, 2018, in Springfield, Illinois. Sterling was at his residence on the 1900 block of E. Edwards Street when the incident occurred. According to reports, he was shot and killed during a home invasion.
