Jesus I. Lumbreras, a 23-year-old Hispanic male, was found dead on February 6, 2018, in Harvey, Illinois. Officers responded to a call around 4:30 a.m. regarding an unresponsive person at a residence in the 14800 block of Maplewood Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Lumbreras had been shot to death. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately treated as a homicide, prompting an investigation by the Harvey Police Department.
