Donzell Webster, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 23, 2017, in Harvey, Illinois. The incident occurred in the evening when Donzell was walking behind a title loans store near 135th and Dixie Highway after leaving a nearby gas station. He was shot in the neck and managed to run back to the gas station, where he collapsed. Despite being rushed to Ingalls Memorial Hospital, he was pronounced dead at 6:50 p.m. that same evening.
