On the evening of August 24, 2017, 41-year-old Michael Davis was found deceased in his home on West 141st Street near Page Avenue in Dixmoor, Illinois. The discovery was made around 8:30 p.m., prompting an immediate investigation by local authorities. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed that Davis had suffered both gunshot wounds and blunt force injuries to his head, leading investigators to classify his death as a homicide.
