Keithen Rupert, a 19-year-old African American male from Harvey, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed on July 18, 2013. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. near the area of 152nd Street and Vine Avenue in Harvey. According to reports, the shooting was the result of an earlier altercation between Keithen Rupert and Dashonti Wiley, a 39-year-old man from Midlothian.
